Isro espionage case: SC orders CBI probe against three Kerala police officers
The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe the involvement of three Kerala police officers in framing Isro scientist Nambi Narayanan in an espionage case. The SC bench, headed by Justice A M Khanwilkar, directed the acting CBI Director to take charge of the case and treat the inquiry report given Justice D K Jain panel as a preliminary report for further investigation.

Covid-19: India adds more than 2 lakh new cases in 24 hours
At an all-time high, India on Thursday recorded more than 2 lakh Covid-19 cases in a day, as the country reels under the second wave of coronavirus. The death toll increased to 1,73,123 with 1,038 daily new fatalities and 93,528 discharges, the Union health ministry data updated at 8 am showed. India's total Covid-19 tally now stands at 1,40,74,564 with 14,71,877 active cases.
