Covid-19: India reports 2,685 new cases and 33 deaths; active cases rise to 16.3k
India on Saturday reported 2,685 new Covid-19 cases that took its infection tally to 4,31,50,215. With 33 more deaths, the death toll has climbed to 5,24,572, the health ministry stated in its official release at 9am. The active cases comprise 0.04 per cent of the total infections. They have increased to 16,308 -- a jump of 494 cases in a span of 24 hours.
