Competition Commission of India has said Google is guilty of adopting anti-competitive, unfair and restrictive trade practices in the mobile operating system and related markets. SC recommends new CJs for 13 high courts
The SC collegium led by Chief Justice of India N V Ramana on Friday recommended appointment of eight high court judges as chief justices of various HCs and transferred five HC chief justices as head of other HCs, thus taking steps to put in place new chief justices in 13 states. The collegium also recommended transfer of 28 high court judges from their present HCs to other HCs.

PAN-Aadhaar linking deadline extended till March next year
The government on Friday extended the deadline for linking Aadhaar with permanent account number (PAN) till March 31, 2022.In a tweet, the income-tax (I-T) department informed that the last date has been further extended by 6 months on account of the challenges faced by people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

'Petrol, diesel won't be brought under GST yet'
Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday clarified that petrol and diesel price will not be brought the goods and services tax (GST) regime yet.
