Bollywood star, Deepika Padukone has confirmed that she will be appearing before the Narcotics Control Bureau on Friday. The actress, who has been summoned by the NCB probing the narcotics angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, on Thursday left Goa for Mumbai.

Popular fashion designer Simone Khambatta has left the Narcotics Control Bureau office after hours of questioning. Khambatta was summoned by the agency as her name has cropped up during Sushant Singh Rajput's talented manager Jaya Saha's interrogation.

The NCB officials are at Rakul Preet Singh's residence to serve her summons in connection with the drug probe in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Earlier in the day, it was reported that her team claimed that they have not received any summons from the NCB. Later, NCB released an official statement and updated that Rakul has responded to their summons.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned three leading actors — Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan — as part of its widening probe into the alleged use of drugs by celebrities. The central agency is probing two cases: one on the alleged involvement of actor Rhea Chakraborty in procuring and financing drugs for her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput and the second on alleged prevalence of drug use in Bollywood.
NCB summons Kshitij Raviprasad
The Narcotics Control Bureau has got several Bollywood celebrities on their list, in connection to the drugs case, that emerged during Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation. Latest being Kshitij Raviprasad, an employee of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. “Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summons Kshitij Raviprasad of Dharma Productions, asking him to appear before them tomorrow, in a drug case related to #SushantSinghRajput death matter,” ANI reported.
Police to deploy extra security for Deepika
Deepika Padukone was issued summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday. Her name emerged in connection to the ongoing drugs-probe, which has come to light during Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case investigation. Deepika has been asked to appear before the NCB on September 25 and according to Times Now, the Mumbai Police has been asked to deploy additional security ahead of her visit to the NCB office. The Bollywood actress is expected to give her statement to the investigating agency tomorrow.
Deepika to take a charter plane from Goa today
Deepika Padukone, who is currently shooting in Goa is reported to return to Mumbai in the afternoon. The actress has been summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau as her name emerged during the interrogation of Sushant Singh Rajput's talent manager Jaya Saha in the Bollywood drug nexus.

Designer Simone Khambatta was spotted at the Narcotics Control Bureau office today to record her statements. Times Now reported that this is related to the drug probe in Sushant's death case. The NCB wants to find the larger drug nexus prevailing in the industry.
Rakul has not received summons by NCB
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday issued summons to Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in the drugs-probe, in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. However, Rakul Preet Singh’s team has acclaimed that they have not received any summons from the investigating agency. The actress was supposed to join the probe today. According to Times Now, sources have stated that Rakul was served the summons digitally.
SSR case: Rhea's bail plea will be heard today
Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik had filed for bail in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday. Their application will be heard today after it got postponed on Thursday due to heavy rains. Her lawyer Satish Maneshinde has released an official statement which states that the hearing will be taken up today.
